This scholarship is funded through a gift from the Bertha Hogarth Estate.  The Nursing Department selects the recipient for this annual scholarship based on the following criteria:  student must have completed the first year of the KVCC Nursing Program, be enrolled in the second year of the KVCC Nursing Program, have  a high GPA and be in good standing.  Preference will be given to the candidate that demonstrates excellence in pursuit of a nursing degree.
